The Evangelical Theological Seminary was founded in 1972 during the communist era.  It currently serves 147 full time and 151 part-time students.  Over 18 different nationalities are represented.  The seminary is both international and interdenominational in scope and vision.  The mission statement of the Evangelical Theological Seminary  gives an indication of the dynamic ministry of this institution:  "...an international, interdenominational institution of higher learning dedicated to training Christian workers to serve the church and society in the post-communist world, particularly in Eastern and Central Europe and the former Soviet Union.  We are dedicated to providing quality, Biblically based, theological education from an evangelical perspective.  We are committed to training theologians, pastors, evangelists, teachers, missionaries and teachers of Christian education and theology."  For more about the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Osijek, Croatia visit the website:  www.evtos.hr
